Default 2006 Yamaha Big Bear 400 starting problem

Found problem, gastank vent tube was plugged with golf tee, previous owner must a done it, cooler temps made gas cap shrink improving seal and starving carb of gas.

Did you try giving it more fuel with the pilot screw? Also, take the airbox lid off and air filter, cover up the intake with your hand and crank it. This acts as a real heavy choke, giving it tons of extra fuel. If it starts, your choke might not be working right. Sometimes you have to let the carb sit in a real parts washer overnight to get it 100% clean. Like a ultrasonic, boiling, gas mask wearing type parts washer.
