Not Chinese, but what?

Been doing my reading and chinese quads don't seem like the way to go. I have a 6 year old and am looking for something with an automatic as its his first quad. What are your suggestions and if you could give a ballpark price that would be great.
Thanks

Are you looking new or used? What is your son's height/weight? Personally, I think E-ton has a nice product in their Viper 70 for that age range. You should still be able to choose 2 or 4 stroke, they come with plenty of features, and the frame seems to be a great size for most 6 y/o kids. They are a little cheaper than the bigger brands too, msrp is around $1800.00. You can get the 90 also, basically just a bit larger motor and bigger wheels, a few more bells. If you are going used, look into the little Suzuki Quadsport 80. They have a few drawbacks, but plenty of positives. You can get used ones in decent shape for around a grand, parts are readily available, and they perform great for general trail riding and such.

Wow...thanks for all the replies. I guess new or used would work, just want to find something reliable and safe for him to ride. I saw some today, happened to be the kazuma 90, and that size seemed about right, are some of the ones listed about that size?
Thanks again-

If your looking for something that is safe for your kid with no worries buy a eton or a kymco.
your saying::::: just want to find something reliable and safe for him to ride. do you think your kid would be safe on a 800.00 doller quad ?????????????
