Default SPORTSMAN EFI 700 STOP FOR NOW REASON

I HAVE A POLARIS 700 EFI THAT STOPS RUNNING FOR NO REASON. THE ENGINE JUST DIES LIKES IT'S OUT OF GAS. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE SHOP NUMEROUS TIMES AND THEY CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. IT WILL RUN FOR A WHILE AND DIE OUT FOR NO REASON. DOES ANYBODY OUT THERE KNOW WHAT I CAN DO, OR WHAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM?

have the dealer re-flash the ECM--

questions:
does it start back up right after it dies or does it take afew minutes before it'll restart?

does it do it when it's idling?

if it'll start back up right after it dies, sounds like a computer/fuel injector issue, if it doesn't restart, sounds like the fuel is getting vapor locked.

either case, have the fuel pump checked-- when u start it does it make a "humming" noise in the "on" position-- turn to "on" for 1-2 seconds, then crank it--?

lemme know

it will some time start but then dies out. had the pump tested and ther is no code from the computer. you can hear the pump running when it is on. and they did flash the ecm. some times i can ride for a long ride sometime i can't.

had the same problem with my 02 700, would run till it got up to a good running temp then shut off, after it cooled down it would start back up. it was the stator. after a new stator no problems.

it works with the spark, its in with the fly wheel. but i didn't change it, the shop did. plastic and foot board have to come off, then the cover over the fly wheel, not sure if they had to take fly wheel off, can't remember. does your machine do like mine did, run great then just shut off, cool down and go again?
