Default trailboss 350 starter

i searched different threads and only found one on a 330 starter.
the 350 starter is on the very bottom of the engine. is the only way to get it off by taking the clutches and backing plate off? or removing the engine?

i bypassed the solenoid, so i know its the starter :\

You don't need to remove the engine. You will have to remove the clutches and covers and there will be a bracket that holds up th back of the starter. You will also have to remove the cover that houses the magneto to get to the bolts that hold the front of the starter on. You may have to remove the mag also but I just can't remember if you can get to the bolts or if its in the way
