Default X2 800 Deluxe

Im new to this fourm and would like to pick youi're brains on a new (07) Polaris X2 800 Deluxe.
I dont do much riding for fun so my main application is plowing snow (Im thinking a 60 incher) and work on my deer hunting property, moving stands ext...
So who has one and what are the good and bad of this machine? I have had Hondas in the past, so this will be my 1st Polaris.

Thanks in advance

i dont belive they've been released to the public for sale yet, but you wont find a stronger more tough quad than the polaris line. it will push through snow with that 60" like it was nothing

That's what a friend of mine told me before he got his 2006 X2 500EFI, but after he got it all he wants to do is ride it around. The Polaris Sportsmans and X2s handle like a dream and the ride is second to none. I never thought they'd be fun to ride around until I got a chance to ride on the newer machines...I was sold, have (2) 800's to be picked up this weekend

welcome to the 800 crowd. the home of plenty of torque and comfort. if you do put a big heavy plow on it you might need stiffer front springs as thats alot of extra weight.

One more thing.........

Im thinking about adding bigger wheels and tires, the dealer is going to give me 400 for the factory alloys and tires, what should I get??
I dont want a tire that tears the ground all to heck, my property is all cedar swamp and takes for ever to repair it self.
And how much will it effect plowing if any?
How much more clearance will it give me?

Sorry about all the questions

sounds like you you dont a mud tire or do you? the stock tires are pretty traction. how much bigger do you want is how much more ground clearnce you get. i have 27"mud lite xtr'" great traction but it will tear up the ground.

The awd has been on the Polaris 4X4 sence they made them as far as I know you will not beable to tell when it disengages an the only way you know it is engaged is when you see the tires spinning. there is nothing poping in an out on them. the only time you will have a problem withit is when you are in 2wd an you spin the rear tires 20 to 30 mph faster then the front an then it might engage the front an make a hard hit. The X2 have a mode called truf mode it make the rear a limited slip diff like a truck is an help with the truf not being tore up.
