Anyone know how hard it is to rebuild a carb on a 1995 magnum 425 4x4? And can you give some pointers on rebuilding it?

 

have a clean area where you are working and theres lots of small parts that could go missing. its not to hard..having lots of light helps

 

Get you a new needle valve and seat along with a new diaphram befire you start.Then just take the jets out and clean everything real good.Pay close attintion to the pilot jet and be sure ALL the little holes are clear.

Make sure you replace ther slide needle and nozzle. These two parts wear quickly on the 425's. After they wear it will run rich.

 

Do the needle, nozzle, needle valve and seat, and diaphram all come in a rebuild kit?

 

I forgot to add that it does run rich. And does bog down around half to 3/4 throttle.

 

I dont think you can get a complete kit and Polaris will gig you good on the parts because you got to have them.
