TM45, throttle return... not coming back to idle properly
#1
Okay...
Now that I got the DS out of storage... and she runs beautifully...
The return spring on the carb won't bring it back to idle all the way. I have to snap the throttle open for it to return, or do it by hand and it comes back. Seems the tension on the spring needs to be a tad more... and it'll be perfect.
Ideas??? How to gain a little bit more tension, or if there's a way to make the throttle come back easier, as the cable has the slack it needs when closed.
HURRY carb gurus!!! I'm on my way out Monday!!!
Thanks, and Happy Holidays!!

Hmmm....
I'll check the slide, could be something.
Accel pump is enabled, linkage is okay.
Twist throttle with pretty much new cable. No binding.
... this quad is like brand new (check my garage) ... so it's not the common issue things to look for. Since it's been sitting, the slide is a good thought. It doesn't stick when it's ridden, it's only seat off in the garage kind of thing. You give it a slow rev and it will not return. When it's ridden, the jarring and vibration helps it return and you really don't notice it. Or, you snap the throttle open and then closed and it won't stick... it returns okay.
