Trying to replace the choke cable and plunger(Honda calls it a Starter valve) - I cut the cable and got it out of the carb but now I can not pull the plunger out - both ears on the plunger broke off - it will turn around and around but will not come out - is there something in the carb that is holding it in ? Thanks

 

Nothing holding it - try a shot of WD40, or some other easing oil. Be gentle putting the new one in.
