what are best skid plates for an 07 450r? i dont want ones that are gonna need to be beaten back into shape after every trail. so are thicker ones better? i kno to thick will give even less ground clearance but im not sure whats flimsy or to thick. thanks for your help

 

I have run DG Baja on my sport quads for years and years. They also have a Fat series that is even thicker. I think the Baja series is a nice combination between protection vs reasonable weight.

If you are beating your sport quad skids so bad that they are getting totally thrashed, as much as I hate to suggest it, maybe you need be on a utility.
