Hi there, new to the site. I'd like to add that the headlight mounting pins on the pod itself do hold tight. On my 05 sp 500 HO, the lights were loose when new. The dealer ordered a new grill assm. but that didn't fix the problem. The fix was some electrical tape wraped around the pins. The dealer and myself called polaris and got nowhere. To check your lights, just push on the inner most part of the light pod. You'll see that the pod wiggles and it is only plastic. If it's loose when new, it will get looser or break as time goes on.Other than that, I have no problems with this machine. BTW, when I was at the dealer, I showed them on the brand new ones on their lot that the 06's and newer sportsmans where the same way. Hmmmmm ????
