Hey everyone.........does anyone have a clue as to why my 06 wolverine 450 all of the sudden started topping out at 38mph with less than 210 miles on it?????????? please help. it has been taken care of and we have covered all of the basics and i really don't want to have to pay a dealer............the warranty JUST ran out.

Never had that problem with ours.... the rear brakes are not grabbing are they? If the motor isnt cutting out I dont know what it could be.

 

I don't have any idea either but would you please post up when you find out?

Have you tried speaking to the Service Dept Manager at the dealer?

 

If you have been through deep mud and water , you probally have dirt in the clutch. Not allowing it to move all the way. Same thing happened on father in laws grizz, cleaned out the clutch and back to new.

 

If the engine runs good clean the clutch up.

 

I agree, if you have been in ANY sort of mud/water I would take a look at your clutch.
