Problem with recon

Default Problem with recon

my 2004 honda recon keeps dying when i am riding it and if i wait a minute it will start back up. does anyone know what could be wrong with it

Default Problem with recon

Check and make sure that your choke isn't engaged or sticking. Also check the level of the motor oil because some Honda engines are are equipped with a switch that will shut the motor down when the oil level is insufficient. I would then clean and oil the air filter, replace the spark plug, and check your fuel filter (if your quad has one), and make sure that you are running fresh gas. If you still have a problem after doing these things get a compression gauge and run a compression check. Good luck.

Default Problem with recon

make sure the breather tube that goes from the gastank lid into the steering stem isnt pinched, iv seen it happen a couple times!
