How Would the Custom Axis rear shock work for my Blaster? I know they are non-adjustable, but are they a lot better than the works rear shocks on a Blaster for MX? thanks for your help

Why on earth would you want to spend that kind of money on a BLASTER? What a waste! Just get the works performance economy model shock and save the rest of your money to eventually buy a REAL MAN'S quad!! sheesh!!!!!

oooooohhhhhhh Big man telling me how i got a kids quad and all! how about u shut your mouth and get over it because a blaster is the best quad for me right now being only 15. What i want to put my money into is my business, not some idiots who probably has never even rode a blaster and doesnt know what hes talking about. People like you who down other peoples quads thinking it makes them all big should go somewhere else because your not wanted here. How about we let somebody say something who can give me an answer to my question instead of criticizing me and my quad. And by the way, what kind of quad do you ride?

If I were you I would send my stock rear Blaster shock to TCS and have them modify it. They will put a compression adjustable reservoir on, new spring and proper valving. Also, I would get the 2" swingarm extension(it's about $110) this will help too. You could probably get the TCS modified rear shock and the swingarm extension for less than an AXIS rear shock and it will perform better.

thanks raychalp,
where can i get the swingarm extension and who makes it? I was planning to get the TCS upgrade in the first place but i decided that the Axis shock would be of higher quality. Now i guess im back to the TCS. But the TCS would be adjustable too right?

The TCS rear conversion on your stock rear shock includes a compression adjustable reservoir and stainless steel hose, a new spring and proper valving. I am sure that it is a good setup, I used to have TCS on my 250R(now I have PEP ZPS). I liked the TCS modified stock rear 250R shock that I had, it performed pretty well. The price for the TCS upgrade is only $390, which is about half of what an AXIS cost. The swingarm extension is made by A&R Racing I think. I have seen it advertised in the back of Dirtwheels or 4 Wheels Action. You should be able to get one from your local dealer. If you can't find one somewhere, let me know by email at Raychalp@aol.com and I will hook you up with one. Just make sure that you get the swingarm extension before you get the shock rebuilt because it will have to be valved for the extra 2"(I am sure you already know that). I had a Blaster awhile back and had the swingarm extension with a stock shock and it worked a whole lot better so I can't imagine how well it would work with a TCS modified shock. Anyway, let me know if you have any other questions. Also, if you are really into the Blaster go to www.blastercentral.com and see all the mods they have done. It is one of the best ATV sites around.
