Default power and reliability

as far as honda goes for riding and mudding what would generally be the best all around utlity quad i may be leaning away from the rinny and looking more at the 500 foreman es but i would put disc on the rear if bought or should i just spend some green on the 2002 450es and keep gettin it , how about the detroit gearless locker does it work as well as advertised

as far as a detroit gearless locker. its basicly a must on the foreman if your into some serious mudding. i bought my foreman 500 for mostly deep mudding. i have a polaris 500 and its rear end system (irs) is beter suited for mudding, giving you a better stock ground clearance, due to hondas solid rear axle but polaris or any other atv doesnt come clost to hondas realiability. i'll never buy a polaris again, mater affact i'll never buy any thign besides honda again. my .02

I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE BIG UTILITYS BUT MY FREIND HAS A RECON 250 AND ITS A VERY RELIABLE QUAD. I ALSO LIKE THE RANCHERS, THEY ARE OK, I CAN ONLY HELP WITH SMALLER QUADS BUT ILL TELL YOU WHAT I RACED A FOREMAN 400 AND IT WAS QUITE A MACHINE. IN THE THICK MUD HE LEFT MY 250R BEHIND, THIS WAS A FEW YEARS AGO, THEY MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE THEN.
