Default 1999 300 trx starting issue

I replaced the battery on my fourwheeler-thinking that was the problem. I bought a new battery and charged it-the ampmeter says it has 12.4 under starting load. There is a clicking sound from near the battery box-I believe the solenoid. How does one check to see if the solenoid is functional?

Lightbulb 300ex start

yeah, same thing happened to me

Check to see if your strters getting hung (will make a clicking noise)
Try hittin it with a hammer to knock it loose (not to hard) If that dont work double check the connections,, take a wire brush over everything..

And thats about it

Just pray its not the starter

Check for voltage at the starter, also a bad ground will have the same symptoms. Try to jump the solenoid if not getting voltage at the starter
