Default scary moment on the 07 400trx3ex

Hi Im not no pro on fourwheeler maintnence but I just washed my 400ex and had it ideoling for about 3 min.It stalled on me.so I tried to start it it was already warmed up.and it wouldnt start. I thought what the heck.so I looked at everything and found that everything was alright.then I tried starting it again and it started but stalled right away.so I put the choke on and tried it it started and quit again.so I left it sit thought maybe I had it was flooded.then tried it again and nothin.so I put it on reserve and tried it and it started. so I turned the reserve off and left it run about 1 min and it stalled.so I put the reserve back on and started and left it idoel for about 2 min turned off the reserve and road it about 10 min.then I left it ideol for a while and it was fine.went back out 10 min later and it started right up and idoeled great .anyone know why or what happened after I washed it.

That used to happen to me all the time with my raptor 350, never quite found out what the reason for it was.

Just happened to me on my 00 40 ex. Pulled the tank and it was clean. i have never burned more than1.5 gal per trip so I left it on reserve. After a few rides swiched it back and no problems.
