This Polaris hawkeye just amazed me this weekend with its Ability for a small machine, took her up over the racks in river water and i just knew it was gonna flood and give up then start floating down the river, It did not flood or cut out, In fact due to the Lighter weight of 550 pounds and 25 inch Rawhide tires, the sealed storage area and the sealed airbox and sealed tool box ,,it did infact float, I Went all the waay with it across the river and said well here goes >Do or Die Little Hawkeye > By the way Little Joe rode a small Horse and He was a Bad ***, I hit the deep and Hawkeye went under and to my Amazement she started floating the front Back up because of the water tight Storage area, then I Gave it some more Throttle and she stood up up and walked out for me, My buddy who was sitting his Praire 700 wouldnt go over because he knew his heavy Machine would sink like a rock, Hey for 4400.00 and a little smaller machine that floats this thing rocks and has new resepect from me and Others that ride alot more Expensive machines, One guy said why did that guy on the hawkeye go across the river ? one other Guy that was sitting there said cause He can !

 

Just be sure to keep an eye on all your fluid levels in water. Maybe run all your vent lines higher if you plan on doing a lot of swimming

 

Dont plan on swimming with it , Just had to see what it can do, The fluid levels and condition are real Important.

 

cool beans go hawkeye!!!! i just wished i had mine back it was stolen a week ago at the dealership.
still waiting on the insurance to let us know what the time line is going to be on a new one

 

Do they make you buy another Hawkeye or just give you the money and you buy what you want!!!!..............Caper...............
