Default Paddle tire size options

Will a set of ITP 22x11x12 Sand Star's fit without rubbing the stock heel guard on a late model DS650? I want to buy 22" paddles, but am worried that my efforts of acquiring a 12" wheel for these may be a waist of time, effort and money if the 22" paddles rub on late model DS650s with the now shorter stock swing arm.

Anyone running 22" paddles on a stock bike with NO rubbing or clearance issues???????

I have run 22" Skat Trac Extreams paddles for a long time. At first I did have stock heel guards and they rub a little bit under full compression. I soon went to a set of aftermarket guards and the problem diaapeared.

I do a have a buddy with a 2005 DS and he runs a 22" Skat Trac as well. He trimed the heel guards a little (1/2") and he has no problems even with the shorter swing arm.

Gadget is there a reason you want to run 12" rims ???
