Default new style 110 mini utility/storing long term

I just ordered a new style mini ute, as pictured in my pics. I am actually buying two for my twin boys who are too young to ride for awhile yet. i'm gonna order the 2nd one when the dealer here puts in his next order. What do you guys suggest i do to store the bikes in my basement for a couple of years. they will be assembled and PDI'ed. I am getting 2 red quads. tell me what u think of the new style. and i know they have nothing to do with raceway, but i think the most experience resides in this forum. thanks.

Drain the fuel completely, pull the battery. I would get a can of fogging oil that you use on outboard boat motors, pull the spark plug, and spray some in the cylinder. Put the plug back in. I'm not sure I would have bought them this early though, seals are going to dry out over the next few years from not being used.

Id keep them in a cool dry place, and would leave them in their packing crate.
