Default 2002 Rancher ES 350 - Bleed Front Brakes

I crashed my Rancher and had to rebuild the front end. It's all back together, but can't get the front brakes to operate at all. The front braker lever has no compression. I've filled the brake fluid resevoir, opened the bleed nut, but the fluid won't drain down into the line to the front brake. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tip. I'll adjust everything and let you know. The bike only has 300 miles on it and was not run hard so I'm thinking the master cylinder is OK

What I do not understand is why I can't get any back pressure build at all in the brake lever...
