HELP...2000 TrailBlazer...

anyone know what gas to oil Ratio the 2000 trailblazer mixes itself? I think my oil pump isn't working right, its not running worth a flip, my brother seems to think that I should just mix the gas and oil myself and pour it into the gas tank, and not use the oil tank!
any one know what ratio?

if i had to guess it would be 32 to 1. if your oil pump stopped working, you would know it pretty quick as it would seize the engine from lack of lubacation. just my .02

Why do you think its the oil injection? If it was not working right it will lock up. You may have carb issues or it may even need a top end rebuild. Going by the year I would bet it needs rings. Do a compression check and this will tell you if it needs rebuild.

ok...I've got all the other stuff with the oil pump fixed....the topend was rebuilt last nov. and a new starter put on back last sept., I wasn't getting any spark, so I went and bought a new Ingnition Coil, and slapped it on there.
well, I'm still not getting any spark???
any ideas?

well, i fired up...didn't think it was getting in spark!, it ran for a few seconds, when I gave it some gas once it hit kinda high on the rpm, it felt like it wasn't getting any more spark?? then it went dead.
and now it won't crank, only turn over.

did you pull the plug out and see it wasnt getting any spark? once you know for sure that it is getting spark, its time to work on the carb if its not starting. you have to eliminate one or the other.

If it dies when you give it throttle, there is a safety device. The throttle cable may be out of adjustment. There are some contacts in the box on the handlebars that cut out spark if the throttle sticks wide open. Just an idea.
