winch mounted on 500 scrambler 4x4?

winch mounted on 500 scrambler 4x4?
anyone have pictures or have it done and can tell me their experiences. i'd like to get one of those Xtreme packages that comes with a scrambler mount. I am curious of how good they actually work on a scrammy.

I've never heard of an Extreme mount. I mad my own after looking at what scramblerXrated made. I have one pic and X has a lot more. But make sure you test fit everything before you weld. Mine was a little crooked and needed some plastic trimming

winch mounted on 500 scrambler 4x4?
has anyone mounted one between the front bumper and radiator? will it fit there? i dont want to cut out my platics to have a winch upfront. and i dont like the looks of the warn mount on top of the bumper, no way id do that!

can you fill us in on the XTREME mount that you speak of?
i have also modded a DG front bumper for a buddy o mine, and basically welded in a shelf for mounting the winch between the bumper and radiator, and of course all the necessary re-enforcements

from what i can tell, the XTREME winch is just a rebranded venom or gorilla. they are all over ebay from the same people who sell the other warn knock offs. you can get an entire package with mount for $85 + $26 shipping.

i fabed a winch mount into my front bumper(venom 2500)it came with i think the same mount as the extreme winch does. i didn't really like how it mounted hanging on the out side of the bumper, it looked kind of funny and out of place, and also i could see it getting clipped by a tree branch or something. i have a few pics of what i did.

Im also very interested in this because i want a winch on my trailblazer.I go threw crazy mudd with this quad that could embarras a 4x4 believe it or not!So it would be nice to get myself out and be able to get my ds out when needed.I think the bumper on the 1997 trailblazer 250 is the same as the scrambler.It should also be easier to without there being a radiator.
