Default No spark on my Yamoto 150

I am having a spark issue with my Yamoto 150. The only spark I get is when I release the starter button. I have done everything I can think of to find the problem. Anyone have any ideas.

Also have a Redcat 50 I can't get started. I have spark and fuel. The compression seems a bit weak but I have never messed with a motor this small. Any help would be appreciated

The redcat 50 may need the valves djusted. That is usually what happens once they are hard to start or dont start at all. If the compression is weak then thats what it wil need.

As for the yamoto. I see you have some years on that one. If the spark is weak or you dont have spark it may be the cdi. You say you dont have spark unless you let off the starter? Do you mean just a spark once let go? Did you check your handle bar switches. Inside the switches sometimes water gets in them and corrodes the connections. Take apart the main handlebar switch to check wires and connections.

Thanks for the help on the Kazuma the valves were the issue. The Yamoto is still giving me a problem. I put my cdi on another bike and it worked fine. Put the other bikes cdi on my Yamoto and got the same thing, spark when I let off the start button. I also get no spark when kick starting. Could it be the kill switch? I don't know but it sure is frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.
