Kazuma 90cc mini falcon
#1
Hi,
does anyone out there have any timing settings (pictures etc) for the Kazuma 90cc mini falcon, I bought two last christmas for both my sons and one of them has decided to not start. previously we have had loads of fun on them its just a mystery why it wont start.
swapped CDI and voltage regulator to see if that helped but no joy, which leads me to think its the timing settings, havent been able to go out recently as I cannot take one without the other. I'd appreciate as much info as possible.
cheers

Do you know if it gets spark or fuel. Use some ether/starting fluid to spray in the carb. Doing this will help figure if its fuel or electrical. If it kicks over then you know its fuel. If it does not it leads more to electrical. Check all the safety switches, tethers, fuses, on off switches etc...

havent touched the valves yet, I have however just sprayed ether in the carb but still no fire up. checked all the cut off switches they seem to be OK (how do you check if they are Ok) rear fuse isnt blown, which leads me to think its the valve settings. does anyone have any instruction on how to check and alter the valve settings?

adjusted the valves, bypassed all the switches, cleaned all the connectors, still no start. with my other son having the same model, I then swapped over some of the parts to find the route of the problem but I'm still scratching my head as it still wont start.cdi swapped.voltage regulator swapped.
the only thing I havent swapped is the coil that fits direct to the spark plug, the spark looks fine perhaps a little week but I'm not sure how to check if this is faulty. has anybody got ideas?????????

May need to do a compression test on the cylinder!!!!.....Sounds to me like there is no pressure building up for the fuel to fire!!!...Is it hard to turn over? Is there a back-up pull or kick start?...Caper.....

Can anyone help, it looks as though I have an electrical fault the spark from the plug is a lot dimmer than my other sons ATV, therefore how do you test what part is faulty as it could be the coil or even something else?????????

You didn't mention that you had changed the plug. May want to try that. I had bikes in the past that would quit for no good reason, changed the plug and boom, back in business. Sometimes the plug will open internally and the spark will have to jump two gaps, causing the spark to be weak at the tip.
