A friend and I went to the local Honda dealer Tuesday to check out the '07's

I wanted to go look at the 400EX since it has reverse now, and the Rancher 420 ES 4x4.

He wanted to check out the changes to the 300EX.

I was very impressed with the 420... the AT model should have recieved the upgrade also though.

Anyways, there was not a 400EX in stock, so my buddy and I were going over the 300EX and 250EX.
Both of us are big long term fans of the 300EX.

Anyways, we were both impressed that they left the good stuff alone, while upgrading the PITA reverse setup and FINALLY killed off the sick plastics that haven't looked good since '87... LOL.

Anyways, I didn't say a thing to him. But I think the 450R and 300EX look alike, which I'm sure a lot of folks like.
But I don't. I hate that bowed up hood and cheesy headlight configuration.
Didn't say a thing though.

On the way home we were he was talking about the EX's and I was talking about atvconnection (he don't compute).

Then he says to me... "that hood and headlight on the 300EX looks like chit."
"I wonder if the hood and headlight off the 250EX would fit?... or if there is an add-on racing hood with no light?"

So I told him I'd ask on here because maybe there was a dealer or dealer employee, or Honda nut that knows or could find out...

Yeah... I know it's a dumb question... that's why neither of us would call and put a dealer on the spot with that one...

But if somebody knows one way or the other about either, that sure would be cool.

However, I really didn't see what I was stabbing for here...

You know when you look at a RED '07 model 300EX and a RED '07 model 250EX...

You know the black hood part above the headlight on BOTH?
And how the headlights are different?

Those two items are specifically what I'm stabbing for.

My buddy was wondering if those are swappable between the two 2007's?

And if not if there was just an aftermarket racing hood piece to replace the hood and delete the headlight on the stock plastics?

Feathercarbon makes such a hood for the '07 400EX, but not the '07 300EX.
