Ok the other week i called the nearest honda dealer to me which is hundreds of miles away and i had put 500 dollars down to the last 2006 400ex and guess what they did later on during the day they sold it, so now i am going to to buy an 07 model which i am bummed out because i have to pay the extra money for basically the same machine. BUT the sales guy i was in contact with told me he will try to get me a deal but i am still bummed out cause the thing will cost a little over 6000 dollars to buy compared to the 5600 i was told by the sales manager. well a little over 6000 cause i have to have it shipped via plane cause thats the only way to get it in. so now i am bummed out i have to wait a few weeks. i want to go ride..

 

My daughter in Seattle bought a MiniCooper and put 5000.00 down on it. She came back to pick it up and they had sold it to someone else while she was out getting the financing for it. Nothing she could do. Dealerships suck wad.

 

Yea one time I was having a fuel problem with my Rancher and needed to bring it to get worked on. I called the Honda dealer, which is about 30 miles away, they said I had to wait 2 weeks to bring it in, then 2-3 more weeks for them to get to it! So I brought it to a local part time atv mechanic the same day and got it back the same day. So no offense to dealers, but I been bring my business to local shops

 

yea me and my friend went to look at a new truck for him and took one for a test drive. they let him keep it over night to drive somemore and he went back the next day to sign the papers and they said it had already been sold before we even took it for a test drive.

 

I woulda told that dealer to stick that 07 straight up his a$$. You put $500 down SO noone else can buy it, and he sells it??? what a chump i'd be pissed.


tell the honda guy you are going to buy a suzuki now since he's jerkin you around, he might give you a better deal..


i wouldnt buy a 400ex anyways, you can get a 2007dvx400 or z400 for a couple hundred bucks less then the 400ex. plus its liquid cooled,faster and just as reliable as the honda.

 

LoL dvx dude thats funny ..yea i am pretty pissed i was gon call other honda dealers to see what they offer me. and i will probaly tell a lil lie to that honda dealer ( the one that sold the LAST 06 mod) and say hey man i was offered so an so i think ima jes get my money back and get it from there and i know i will get a good deal from him.

 

I would just buy a Suzuki z400 after that crap happened to me.

 

Get your money back. If you had a deal on a bike and they sold it, they broke the deal. Stand strong against them and you will get the 07 for the same price. They will just have to see your money walking out their door. I am willing to bet the stealership paid the same amount for the 2 model years. If they pay the same, shouldn't you?
