yes i will be upgrading the whole tranny. honestly im surprised it lasted as long as it did. anyway i got the plunger out last night. the plunger actually closes off two holes...the large part of the plunger closes off air. the small needle part closes off the fuel passage to the bowl when it is inserted. so anyway i disassembled the carb, you have to take the float out because there is a small vent hole that you have to plug, once that was out i used an air compressor and blew air in through the starter jet and the plunger shot out and went flying. so it's all good to go.

I Have the same problem with the choke as the beginning post. The only difference is that i got the cable out and found that the spring was rusted into dust. But i still cant get the plunger out. I got it to come just about even with the edge of the hole after messing with it for about an hour. Now it feels like its seized in place and now the metal piece that actually holds the cable in place is getting really weak. I don't want to break it off. Any suggestions?
