i just got a bew to me atv and i am unsure of the year. its manufacturing date is june or july of 2003. is there any way of telling for sure? maybe the vin number? or any differences between the years? any help is appreciated.

No changes between a 02 and 03.

 

I think the 8th letter back from the vin represents the year. 2003 got rid of most of the grease zerks and 2004 saw different tires and a fuel gauge in the speedo pod later in the year.
