i have a 99 sportsman 500,speedometer is erratic,it has a speed sensor and not old school cable operated,i cleaned off rotor and it started working ,but then quit again i dont know how to check the sensor cable any help would be appreciated .thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

did you make sure the plug ins were not corroded as well. i think you would need a boot to test(if you can) the wheel sensor. just making sure its clean and not distorted is all i can think of.
