Default Polaris '07 500 X2 update

I absolutely love this thing. Only problem was a loose wire to the starter, and was causing the ignition to shut off and on causing back fire and stalling. Tightened the ingniton wire, and not a problem since.

I love the ride. Very easy steering, suspension absorbes bumps on the trail better than anything I've had in the past. Hit the throttle at 20 mph and it will give you all that you need.

I went with an old friend who bought my 03 Outlander from me, and we swapped machines. No comparison. The Outlander seemed tinny and no where near the handling. My cousins keep giving me a hard time because my seat on my Polaris is a firmer foam than on the Outlanders. They keep saying the Outlander is more comfortable. Bull, that soft foam gives in and soon you're sitting on steel. The firmer foam on the Polaris is much more comfortable and supportive on the long haul.

I just plain love this machine. I've never had a Polaris, but I'd definately recommend the 500 xt to anyone wanting a trail machine that can haul an extra person or a 400 lb payload.

This old man is back into four wheehlin' haha Heck, I might even talk my wife into going with me.

Hey Frank, I agree. I have something approaching 300 miles on my machine. We went out yesterday in Claremont, NH to do some trail maintenance for a club I joined last year. The X2 and ATP went through thick mudholes that had foot high rocks in them. Came close, but we didn't get hung up in the couple dozen holes we had to go through. Ran great when we hit an open trail or when doing 2 mph over the rocks and through the slop. Enjoy!

At the risk of repeating myself on this forum, me, too. My 07 500 X2 Deluxe is simply outstanding, perfect for my needs.

You'll have a blast on the trails. Don't be afraid to take it up steep hills...it's a beast on a hill and rides like a Cadillac on the trails!

The X2 is killer for a 2-seater! My wife would rather drive her own, but this isn't bad at all. Hopefully daddy will get his X2 800 soon!!!
