Default CVT? How to make more power but less speed on hills

Scramblers don't have low transfer case. So as I climb a hill it seams like the more throttle I give the faster I go. When all I want to do is keep the same slow speed. The scrambler just wants to rocket up the hill in zoom zoom mode.

I think I should adjust the spring settings on the driven clutch. Then If that is not enough try a heavier spring.

I want more thottle control verse speed increase.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Set the secondary setting to 2-2 and while you are in there look at what springs and weights you have and then we can help out more.
