We cannot get the oil drain bolt removed from the 70cc Hensim. Everything is set to go, but we have to get the shipping oil out...... but the bolt won't come off!

Has this happened to anyone else? Whats the deal? A ratchet wrench won't fit in there, the bolt is just against the frame bar...... trying a closed wrench now but anyone else have any ideas?

 

try to heat up the bolt first. or tip the atv to 1 side and drain from the oil fill cap.
or use a oil extractor

We ended up using an extractor.... still couldn't get that bolt off. We'll give it a go on the next oil change.... Thanks!

 

Just did the same thing! I bought mine and just got it from Costco.com i removed the wrong one and a spring fell out! That was the crank case oil! Which was almost empty. So I undid the other one, which was the oil and it seems to be stripped, when I removed it, after getting the wrench in there at an angle, it came off with much force. Then gong on was very difficult.

I may return it, what do you think?

I've read of other quads having this problem. I think what they did was loosen the engine mounting bolts and move the engine around until they could get a wrench on the bolt.
