its all over planet sand. from what I can gather Ruben Flores of Rubdubs racing and his teenage sonand jockey little Rubs were coming home and the garage was closed. Rubens wife had just been in the garage loading the washing machine and went back in the house to grab something. Ruben pushed the botton button on the remote i his truck to open the garage door and with the sun in his eyes he pulled in the garage and while doing so he felt a thump. he had little rub get out to see what he had hit and found that he had just run over his 15 month old baby son killing him instantly. to those of you who havent met the rubdubs crew, they are some of the nicest people you could ever meet and a very close family. I cant imagine what they are going through and it breaks my heart that this has happened to them.

As a parent I cannot begin to imagine the horror that they must be living through now. Pray that they do not descend into blaming each other and themselves. God bless them and help them through this very tragic time.

 

Ruben is one of the best stand up guys in our sport................hope he can stay strong threw this!!

 

Man, as a new father of a 7 month old, I can't begin to imagine the horror his life has become. That is one of the most heartbreaking stories that I have ever read. My heart goes out to his family and especially him as I'm sure the emotional devestation is unimaginable....

I pray that they may somehow find peace once again....that's tragic, just horrible to hear.

 

Absolutely...terrible and tragic!....many prayers said in favor of the Flores family.

 

We pray that God gives them comfort and strength. We also pray that there is no blame and guilt. It was God's will and He sometimes works in mysterious ways, for a good reason that we as humans may never understand. But we have to believe that something good will result.
