There has been a lot of speculation why the 400EX isn't listed as an 08 on the Honda web site. I had not noticed that neither the Rancher or the Recon are listed either!

These are very popular machines, so I don't think it means any of them are being discontinued. Could this mean big changes for all these models? Dare we hope for fuel injection on the EX and the lowly Recon??? Maybe an electronically switchable TraxLok 2wd/4wd on the Rancher???

 

If I remember correctly, the Rubicon isn't on their either. I hope they give the Rubicon EFI.

Has anybody seen the new color for the Rincon? There is a white color for the Rincon now.

it would be nice to see a faster revving 400ex, with liquid cooling. the ranchers could benefit from the trax lock with a locking differential. hopefully they all come equipped with EFI for 08. what ever is in store for these honda's i hope its something that redefines the market... again!!!!

 

Not sure I would welcome a "faster reving" 400EX. The fact that this engine will lug down, is exactly what I find attractive about it...for slow technical trail riding!

If you want a faster reving water cooled EX, then just get the Z400.....

Maybe the Ranchers are going to get the EPS???? Personally, I find my Ranchers to be to heavy already, and adding even a few more pounds of EPS (up front where it does the most harm), is a step in the wrong direction.
