I installed a hetrick powerup kit a few weeks back I'm still running stock filter carb intake shaved the head -.30 Here the problem I dont know if it has any more power from when it was stock. It wont spin the wheels from a dead stop and the topend is cutting out bad. I checked the Vari weights there good. The big spring is a 1500 rpm put the red srings on the clutch and drilled the heck out of the clutch.
One big ALSO the reverse wont work because the rev limiter stops before the clutchs engage.
I'm so sick of this P.O.S.

 

The so called power up kit don't do much IMO....all that clutch work and no motor to push it..

There is a CDI box under the front grill. It is adjustable. Turn the pointer with a small screwdriver till it is on the highest number. Now it can rev!
