Just looking at the few pics of my ds I was wondering how much some of you guys have been getting your ds's for and if you think 4k would be too high to start at and try and sell it...It runs good, but is going to need a few minor things done to it...If anyone could help me out on giving me a ballpark range that would be great...Thanks

 

What are the few minor things wrong with it? you say its a 2001?

 

I have a really sharp looking '03 Baja with a +6 swingarm, stock motor with open intake and a pipe and a 520 conversion for sale locally for $3895.

I would take $3500 for it. It also has a oil pressure guage and a water temp guage.

 

I got my 2000 with 40 hours on it truly like new for $3000 last January.

Locally the Can Am dealer is selling 2007 DS650s for $5,950.....

 

I bought that 2003 for $2700

 

i paid 3500 for my 2001 in 2004 with about 10 hours on it i think i got a decent deal but now its probably worth about 2500 or less but i will never sell it.

even now you cant get better bike for the price everything else is just crap.

 

For anyone really looking seriously for a new DS Chaparral has two 07 Baja X models, $4188. Not trade in's, brand new. Also have a Renegade for $7200. I was looking at the Polaris RZR but they are not budging on them yet. Still $10K. I'll wait til they drop between $7-8K.

 

i got my 2000 ds for 2,400. in good condition i fixed some minor stuff and it in great shape now

 

07 baja x for 4188 im going to check it out im sick of dealing with my bike.

 

I changed my mind it isn't worth it, but need to do something to it definately.
