After lurking here for a while, I decided to join because I need some answers. On my sportsman, the fusible link burnt off and my ecm was very hot and has that wonderful burnt motor smell. I know Polaris had ecm issues and recalled a bunch, but mine was never part of the recall. I have no problem replacing these parts, but was wondering what caused it in the first place, or if I need to dig deeper into the machine to find a problem. I have had zero problems except for the spark plug wire/frame problem. Thanks
