Default I need Master Cylinder help

I have a 1999 honda fourtrax trx 300 and I am having a real problem getting the front brakes to work. I just recently bought this ATV and the front bakes were not working. There are no leaks in the system and I put on new pads. I have tried many different methods of bleeding them now for over a month. So I decided to buy a master cylinder rebuild kit. I was wondering if someone could tell me were and what direction the rubber washers face. Thanks.

Im only guessing, but those have to be manually adjusted, and I am willing to bet thats your problem, adjust the brakes before you dis-assemble the master cylinder.

Default I need Master Cylinder help

Ok I went out there last night and I adjusted both sides of the brakes until I could fell and hear them rubbing. I could still turn them. Still nothing.
So then I took off the drum and removed both brake pads. I then started pumping the master cylinder and the calibor moved and keep moving out until they popped out. So I put them back in, put everything back together, bleed them. and Still nothing.
It acts like it will not build pressure. So thats why I thought maybe it was the master cylinder. One of my problems is, I cant remember where and which direction to face the rubber cups (picture above). I think I know where the back one is suppose to go but its the front one that I'm unsure about. Does the front rubber cup go on the very end and the spring goes on top of the rubber cup or does it go on the next slot on the little piston piece and which way do I face it? I think I might have all that wrong.

Try using needle nose visegrips and pinching the rubber hose about 1-2 inches from the banjo bolt .. Then pump the brake lever and crack the banjo bolt a few times to let any air out ..

I'm still needing to find out which way the rubber cups need to be facing on the little piston piece though? Anybody know?
