Baja Wilderness 250
#1
I have a Baja Wilderness 250 and have had alot of fun with it. However, since new it makes a loud "clacking" sound from around the head of the motor....especially when under hard aceleration or load. Could this be just valve noise? are these motors know for such clacking sounds or should i start paying closer attention? Should be noted it does not leak or burn any oil and probably has 800 km on it now.
Anybody else hear this on their 250?

Great thanks, do you know anything about the consequences of this potential problem? Am i doing damage to the machine by riding it as is? I do alot of trail riding in Northern Ontario and if it breaks down out in the bush...its not coming home....ever.

their's a cam chain adjustment on the side of the clyinder, stickes out about an inche and a haft , has a bolt and lock nut on it, to adjust loose the lock nut and tighten the bolt until the noise is gone then retighten lock nut
