Default Recommend a new 50cc for my 6 year old twins

I'd like to get my 6 year old twins a 50cc for Xmas but am having trouble hunting one down. We live in a residential neighborhood on about an acre with a slight slope to the yard. I've seen some no name brand 50cc ATV's at Saferwholesale for ~$500 but Im cautious about picking up something where the manufacturer isnt prominently listed. Is anyone familiar with the ATV's I'm referring to or can someone recommend a model/shop (the local shop didnt sell anything below 110cc) I might be able to pick up such an ATV? Your help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.
IMO,You need a LT50/LTZ50, kasea 50, or a eton 50.
It's doubtful you'll get one for 500 bucks but for a lil extra $$, it'll be 10x more dependable than the chinese made machines.

Search Craigslist for a Panterra 90 ATV. They are Chinese made units that were sold by Pep Boys around 2004-6. We've been happy with the one we bought for $300 this spring. I've seen them around the country for $300-$500 used.

No such luck in finding them new or a local dealer that supplies them. Only new 50cc I have found (other than the no name brand) is Polaris which is a little rich at $2k. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Try finding a used Honda. Their kids quads were made by them instead of Korean or Chinese made if I remember correctly.
