Default EZ Reverse

Has anyone used one of these? Supposedly allows you to bypass using the red reverse button and go strraight into reverse. Seems like there would be a chance of going into reverse with the engine idled too high. Any comments?

Hardly necessary. What's so difficult about pushing a button and pulling in the brake. Prevents any unwanted surprises.....

Yeah, I agree it's not a problem, I just have never seen one or heard of anyone having one. Just wanted to know what they thought of it. It must not be much to it because no one who sells them will show a pic of it.

I wouldnt recommend it from a safety point, but you could just adjust all the free play out of the cable pulling the lockout and do the same thing.

a zip tie will accomplish it, also if its a es system the safety feature is still there, quad won't shift into gear with the rpms to high in either reverse or first

I can see where this might be usefull when plowing snow, where you are going forward and backward a lot. But out on the trail, not necessary.....maybe even dangerous.

I have one of these I bought for my wife. It works well and have never had any problems with it. All it is, is a wedge piece of plastic that fits in between the cable to hold the tension at all times. The only real downfall is if you leave it in all the time it could stretch the cable prematurely. I take it out when we are done riding. You could make one in about 10 minutes.
