Default 400ex tires

I need to replace all 4 tires on my 400EX. I ride mostly trails, sometimes muddy, some rocks and roots. I like to ride on tracks but not a real racer. The Ohtsu stock tires puncture to easily. What do you suggest? Also price does matter, I have a limited budget.

Maxxis Razr's are what most of my buddies have been running. I'd say around $200 all around.

Maybe ITP Holeshot H-D's. My experience with Holeshots is that they are virtually indestructible, and extremely puncture resistant!

Agreed with recon holeshots or razrs are great. I just baught a brand new set of 4 razrs for $67 a tire which is not bad.

They cost more than Holeshots or Razrs, but take a look at the Holeshot GNCC tires to see if that might fit your needs.
I have them all the way around on my XC quad and no flats so far this season and still over 90% tread left and will likely finish the season on this same set. That has NEVER happened before I believe I have ran every version of the Holeshot and Razr tires out there at some point.
The Razr2s mentioned here are also a bit higher than the regular Razrs but they are also great all around tires. Ran them for quite some time and were my favorites before switching to the GNCCs.
