Is there anyway to seal a gas leak on a plastic gas tank ? I haven't tore the thing apart yet, but just by looking at it, it appears I have a leak where the tank mounts to the frame. Will any kind of epoxy or anything seal this ?

 

I know that someone on the forum said that they used J.B.Weld on one. Try a parts store, there is epoxy stuff made for gas tanks.

 

the inexpensive way is use 2 part epoxy on your plastic tank, just make sure the area clean before applying, then the more expensive way is to use a fuel tank sealer, any auto parts store has this

 

Yes the two- part clay works very well......Lots of different types out there.........Note it sets up really fast when mixed!!!..........Caper............
