carb issues

Default carb issues

ok i have a 02 ds 650 baja, the problem is when i do wheelies gas spews out the bottom of the carb where the overflow output is, so when the bike is on the back two wheels the carb gets flooded out and it starts to sputter or bog down cause of the too much gas, is there a adjustment for this is the float to high or what i dont know how to stop this issue but i do know a lil about carbs its a 42 millameter mikuni im not sure of the jet sizes right of the top of my head any responces wouold be much appreciated, questions feel free to ask, THANK U GUYS

The only thing I would say to do is check to make sure the screw on the side of the carb is fully tightened(it is there to let gas out of the bowl when you are working on the carb) or try adjusting the float...You are prob having a prob with the float I would say and if it isn't really bad I would say leave it alone because it will let some gas out depending the how long u have it up for.

Something is clogged in the carb. Take it apart and clean it, than blow out all the holes with compressed air.

yea the bike is still running and even better now thanks for askin i just dropped a tooth on the front sproket so i can get it up easier lol
