Don't have the owner's manual in front of me, but I think it is 2.2 qts.
As for oil weight, that depends on the ambient temperature. In the milder southern states, I would run 10W40 in winter and 15W50 in the hot summers. In the forzen north, maybe 5W30 in winter and 10W40 in summer.
Use an API SG/JASO MA motorcycle specific oil.
