im looking for info on building alot of power in a 450r . . like upper 70's hp. what all is in involved. I realize this i kind of a loaded question but I need to know what the options are for stroking boring etc. thanx in advance !

 

Go to www.1dirracing.com give them a call and ask for Will. These guys build the fastest 450s ive ever seen and they even warranty their motorwork. I have a 250r built by them. My motor is a stock 89 long rod motor built by 1 Dir Racing that is pushing as much power as aftermarket motors built by other shops. And its reliable as hell too man! I do desert racing and ive put over 500 miles of hard core abuse on this motor. Im talking 150+ mile races ***** out in 5th and 6th gear on 100+degree days and I havent lost not 1 psi of compression yet lol, thats unheard of.

And the motor runs cooler than hell too, I havent been able to make my 1 Dir Racing motor run any higher than 190 degrees and that was doing some hard core hill shooting up 1/4 mile high sand hills out here in New Mexico. Give them a call man, you'll end up being a customer for life!
