anyone serviced the primary clutch on their kodiak? I had a bunch of mud get in mine and now that i cleaned everything I need to know what where and how much grease to put in whe i reassemble. i don't have a manual yet so any help is appreciated!

Get the grease from your yamaha dealer, its called grizz-grease. As far as how much, if you put too much in all that will happen is it will sling some grease out and you will have to clean it off of the inside of the clutch cover and possibly belt.

 

Each of the weights get an ounce of grease. Yamaha calls it ultramatic grease now, and its about 16 bucks for a pound. One pound does two lube jobs.

 

thanks guys, i used some synrthetic grease i had around cuz the dealers were closed (sun-mon)
