Alright this problem isn't on my quad but my friends.

He also have 07 x2.

He broke his speedo and bought a new one.

Now when he puts it in reverse it wants to die...I know about the saftey feature but its not like that...if he even touches the throttle it dies..but if you hold down the yellow button it works fine.

Now if you unplug the speedo the reverse works perfect without pushing the button

Anyone know why?

 

is it the right speedo? theres only 2 plugs on the back of it so its not real hard to hook up.

 

Yes the speedo is the right one

Maybe the machine knows its not the right speedo?
