Default 03' kodiak 450 starter cable broke, need help

03' kodiak 450 starter cable (choke cable) broke, the piece on the end of the cable broke inside where it goes into the carburetor, does anyone know how to get that little piece out so I can install the new cable?

Thanks, I took carb apart, that was no problem the problem was getting that starter cable piston loose and out to put the new cable on, crapping design on yamaha's part IMO. what happened to the good old fashioned choke flap!!! thanks for the reply.

cool! Did you buy that machine brand new? If so how is it holding up? don't forget to download that manual.

Well there are lots of things on quads/motorcycles/cars/trucks etc.. are crappy design... good enough to manufacturer and sell..
