1999 Warrior Problems

Default 1999 Warrior Problems

Ok I need help I have a 1999 warrior that keeps blowing the fuse when I turn on the light switch I have replaced the voltage regulator the switch and some wires what else could it be?

Need help quick!!!

you have a short. check the headlight assembly

Default 1999 Warrior Problems

I do not have any head lights pluged in I thought that might be the probelm so I unpluged them still did it and then I even took out the wiring harness and clipped them off where they are split from 1 to 2 wires on the green yellow and black wires and it still does it! I guess I will have to go through each wire till I find the short but I was hoping there was a better way.

well i thought maybe you would get lucky and it be something easy. now you will have to trace each wire. that sucks

Yeah tell me about it I was hopeing to get it fixed up to sell quick as I havn't rode it much since I had the motor rebuilt and got a set of spider tracks on it and I could use some extra cash for the holidays! But I will dig in and get it done!

wire touching the handelbars inside the switch housing?

wrong size fuse?
to high wattage bulbs?
